Militants launch 85 attacks on ATO troops in Donbas

Russian-backed militants launched 85 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas over the past day.

This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center.

As noted, in Donetsk direction, the enemy used heavy 122mm artillery to shell Troitske (69km west of Luhansk) and Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk). In addition, the terrorists used tanks to fire at Avdiyivka (18km north of Donetsk).

In Mariupol direction, the militants shelled Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), using122mm self-propelled mounts. The terrorists also used 82mm mortars to fire at Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk) and Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk) and grenade launchers and heavy machine guns to fire at Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), and Shyrokyne.

In Luhansk direction, the enemy shelled the Ukrainian positions in Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Popasna (90 km north-west of Luhansk), and Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), using mortars, grenade launchers, and machine guns.
