Russian-backed militants launched 61 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas over the past day.
This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center.
"Russian occupation troops again violated the Minsk agreements over the past day. The enemy launched 61 attacks on Ukrainian troops, including using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements," the report reads.
The tensest situation was observed in Mariupol direction. The terrorists used grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk), Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol). Ukrainian servicemen came under mortar fire in Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk) and Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk).
In Donetsk area, the militants used 82mm mortars, heavy machine guns, and grenade launchers to fire at Avdiyivka (18km north of Donetsk) and Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk).
