British Ambassador: Great Britain to help Ukraine to receive needed international support

The Great Britain closely cooperates with other international partners so that Ukraine can receive the needed international support.

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Great Britain to Ukraine Judith Gough said this during an opening ceremony launching the active phase of the joint U.S.-Ukrainian military exercises "Sea Breeze - 2016".

According to the ambassador, the exercises of such scale are very important for this region.

"The Great Britain closely cooperates with other international partners so that Ukraine can receive the support package it needs. Our thoughts and hearts are with the people of Ukraine, we pay tribute to the Ukrainian men and women who sacrifice their health and lives defending their state,” the Cabinet of Ministers cited the British ambassador as saying.

The joint U.S.-Ukrainian naval exercises “Sea Breeze - 2016" are conducted in the north-western part of the Black Sea, Odesa and Mykolaiv region on July 18-30.
