German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier has once again stressed the inadmissibility of attacks on the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Donbas.

He said this, speaking at the opening of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Tbilisi on July 1, an Ukrinform correspondent in Germany learnt from the German Foreign Ministry.

"Attacks on observers of the OSCE SMM and drones are completely unacceptable. We cannot allow making the mission blind and incapable of carrying out its duties. These incidents should be investigated and the perpetrators punished," Steinmeier said.

According to him, the situation in eastern Ukraine raises a serious concern, and the efforts to stabilize the ceasefire "are constantly being torpedoed" by violating truce and obstructing the SMM’s activity.
