Russia strongly opposes deployment of OSCE police mission in Donbas

Russia strongly opposes deployment of the police mission in Donbas under the auspices of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
This was stated by Alexander Lukashevich, Permanent Representative of the RussianFederation to the OSCE, TASS news agency reports.
"We are not going to establish any police mission," Lukashevich said.
He insists that the OSCE is a civil organization which deals with the settlement of conflicts by peaceful means.
