1,600 police officers to patrol Donetsk region during May 8-9

About 1,600 officers of the National Police, National Guard and additional forces will patrol towns and villages in Donetsk Region during public events on May 8-9, Vitaliy Nevhad, the Deputy Head of the Donetsk Region National Police department, has announced.
"There is cooperation between all law-enforcement agencies. The situation is completely under control. Additional squads, about 1,600 officers of the National Police, the National Guard and other forces will be on duty round the clock to ensure the safety of citizens and law-enforcement during public events on May 8-9," Nevhad said.
