Spring conscription for military service kicks off in Ukraine

Spring season conscription for mandatory military service has begun on May 5 in Ukraine and it will last until June 30.
These deadlines have been defined in decree of the President dated 29 March, 2016.
"To set the dates for next military conscriptions for Ukrainian citizens in 2016 as following: May 5 - June 30, October – November," the decree notes.
The President has instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to calculate the number of Ukrainian citizens who are subject to compulsory military service, and the expenditures for the regular military conscriptions in 2016.
