Russia prepares to resume large-scale hostilities in Donbas – Ukraine’s intelligence

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine noted this in an exclusive commentary to Ukrinform.

"The situation in the ATO area remains tense. There is a risk of resumption of active local hostilities. After a weak intensity of the enemy’s shelling early this week, the Russian-terrorist forces again increase the number of attacks on the ATO positions," the military intelligence said.

It is noted that the actions of the occupiers are aimed at "maintaining a constant tension in the conflict zone to exhaust Ukraine and its Armed Forces and to provoke the ATO servicemen into military action in response to obtain reasons to accuse our country of violating the Minsk Agreements. At the same time, the command of the Russian Armed Forces continues preparing for a possible resumption of large-scale hostilities in Donbas."
