Nearly 35,000-40,000 militants stay in the temporarily occupied territory of Donbas.
Advisor to the Interior Minister of Ukraine Zorian Shkiryak said this on the air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
"Today, 35,000-40,000 militants stay in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, including 8,000-10,000 soldiers of the Russian army regular units," he said.
In addition, according to Shkiryak, about 60,000 Russian army soldiers stay on the border with Ukraine.
