General Staff readies for seventh draft in early 2016

Another seventh partial military draft can take place early next year depending on a decree issued by the President of Ukraine - Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Head of the press service at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladyslav Seleznyov told Ukrinform.
"Today the issue of partial draft in the seventh wave is not listed in the agenda. It will be started when the President issues a relevant order. We are getting ready for it to happen in the beginning of next year," he said.
Spokesman of the General Staff noted that the necessity for the seventh draft exit because of the fact that demobilization of Ukrainian servicemen who had been conscripted in the fourth draft of partial draft begins in February 2016. "The fourth wave will be replaced in February. In order to replace them, it will be necessary to carry out the seventh draft," he explained.
