The Russian Federation, trying to divert the attention of the international community from the results of bombings in Syria, prepares a large-scale provocation against Ukraine.
Spokesman for the Presidential Administration on the anti-terrorist operation, Colonel Andriy Lysenko said this at a briefing in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"In order to divert attention from the tragic events in the Syrian Arab Republic, where the civilians were killed as a result of actions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the Russian leadership prepares the provocation of the international scale against Ukraine," he stressed.
According to Lysenko, the provocation is aimed at discrediting the leadership of our country, obtaining the reason for filing a lawsuit against Ukraine at the International Criminal Court and leaving the Minsk process.
