ATO Headquarters: Tanks’ withdrawal completed

The truce in Donbas has enabled the completion of tanks’ withdrawal in Luhansk region within the first stage. 

The Antiterrorist Organization press center made a relevant posting on its Facebook page.

“Today, after a statement by the Ukrainian side on the redeployment of certain number of weapons within several days, representatives of the OSCE will carry out the verification. International observers will check the compliance of individual factory numbers and positions of tanks’ redeployment, at a distance of not less than 15 km from the demarcation line,” reads the posting.

As earlier reported, on October 5, the Ukrainian army, within the first stage, began to withdraw tanks from the demarcation line starting from Luhansk region.

According to the agreements, the process of withdrawal is divided into two stages and will last for 41 days.
