Ukraine's Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak said this on the sidelines of the YES meeting, answering to questions of an Ukrinform correspondent.

"We do not see any withdrawal of tanks, armored vehicles, or soldiers. The units of the Russian Federation, which have stayed on the territory of Ukraine, are still there," he said.

When asked about the exact number of Russian troops, Poltorak said, "Up to 9,000, and up to 400 tanks, and sufficient number of artillery systems. The sufficient number of Russian armed forces is deployed in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and we do not observe their withdrawal from the territory of our country so far."
