Shokin to ask to arrest three MPs

The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine is going to summon for questioning and submit the request to the Parliament to strip Opposition Bloc MPs Oleksandr Vilkul, Natalia Korolevska and Vladyslav Novynsky of parliamentary immunity.

Shokin said this at the briefing on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Today, there has been an attempt to summon the representatives of the Opposition Bloc Oleksandr Vilkul, Natalia Korolevska for questioning. Vladyslav Novynsky was also summoned by the Interior Ministry. In addition, the subpoenas to summon Vilkul and Korolevska to the Prosecutor General’s Office on November 5 were sent," Shokin said.

According to him, the Prosecutor General’s Office intends to send subpoenas against a number of other MPs.
