Kyiv court extends arrest for suspect in writer Buzyna murder case

The Kyiv Shevchenko district court has prolonged the period in custody for Andrii Medvedko, who is suspected of murdering the journalist and writer Oles Buzyna, until December 4.
Suspect’s attorney Markiyan Yatsyniak told Ukrinform.
"The court has granted the investigator's request to extend the period of pre-trial investigation and Andrii Medvedko would remain in custody until December 4," he said.
As a reminder, Buzyna was shot dead at the entrance of his house on April 16, 2015. Andrii Medvedko and Denys Polishchuk are suspects in the murder of the journalist.
