The Kakhovka-Tytan power line was reconnected to the power grid.

This is reported by the press service of the Ukrenergo Ukraine’s state-run energy company.

"At 0:08, December 8, 220 kV Kakhovka-Tytan power line was reconnected to the power grid," reads the statement.

As the press service explained, the power line was ready for reconnection on December 7, following negotiations of the Ukraine’s Energy and Coal Industry Ministry officials and the representatives of the law enforcement agencies with the leadership of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people. The delay occurred due to the problems at the Tytan power line.

According to the Ukrenergo spokesperson, the works on the line are completed.

As reported, the electricity supplies from the mainland Ukraine to the Crimean peninsula were stopped after the pylons in Kherson region had been blown up.
