Bad weather leaves 140 Ukrainian towns and villages without electricity

Adverse weather conditions in Ukraine have left 140 towns and villages without electricity.

This is reported by the press office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"As of 7:00 October 13, 140 towns and villages in four regions remained without electricity. In particular, those are 73 towns and villages in Ivano-Frankivsk region (while power supply was restored in 78 towns and villages on Monday), 56 in Chernivtsi region (restored in 67), 8 in Lviv region (restored in 31), 3 in Odesa region (restored in 22)," reads the report.

The teams of regional power companies are involved in electricity restoration.
